Welcome to our brand-new HYDRoToPS website! I’m delighted to share our passion for plant nutrition and the journey that has brought us to where we are today.
Since my early days studying bioscience and medical science in the 1980s, I have been fascinated by the power of nutrition and its vital role in growth and life.
That passion led me into the world of plant nutrition, where I have dedicated decades to understanding what plants truly need to thrive.
For me, HYDRoToPS has never been just about producing nutrients. It has always been about combining scientific knowledge, innovation and a genuine passion for growing to help our customers achieve the best possible results.
I’m incredibly proud of what we have built, the relationships we have developed and the trust that growers have placed in us over the years.
As our industry continues to evolve, so will HYDRoToPS. We will continue learning, innovating and developing products that deliver real results, while staying true to the values that have guided us from the beginning.

OUR STORY
For centuries, the Green Man has appeared across Britain as a face emerging from leaves and foliage, a timeless symbol of nature, renewal and the cycle of growth.
Here in Somerset, surrounded by ancient woodland, fertile landscapes and generations of growing knowledge, that idea feels particularly close to home.
It is here that HYDRoToPS has put down its own roots.
Founded in the UK in 1998, HYDRoToPS grew from a deep understanding of plants and a belief that exceptional results begin below the surface. What happens at the roots shapes everything that follows.
That philosophy continues to guide us today.
